December 13th, 2012 by solfdez No comments »

Elementary teachers with the TDSB have been informed by their union that a one-day walkout will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

In light of this, our day care has been granted access to the school and will operate during our regular hours of 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. barring any unannounced changes from the TDSB.  A full day program will be offered to the kindergarten and school age children for the duration of the strike.

Orde parents, please let us know if you will need care by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012. Parents can either stop by the office to register their child or you can email us at gary.duncan@ordedaycare.org or admin@ordedaycare.org

Also note there may be picket lines set up, and you may be slightly delayed entering the building.

Only the set of doors outside of the small yard will be open for entry on that day.

Thank you,

Orde Daycare

Happy and Safe Halloween

Happy and Safe Halloween

Loosely rooted in the Celtic Samhain tradition, Halloween or All Hallow’s Eve is celebrated as the night before All Saints Day November 1st. Halloween has since morphed into a great family holiday with various activities culminating in children and adults alike get dressed up in their favourite character.

The TDSB offers great safety tips to maximize the fun yet keep you all safe on this exciting night.

Have Fun!!
